Cleansing

If you have oily skin, it is essential to cleanse your face before applying makeup so that the makeup will not slide off. Then, you can use a facial wash or toner, whichever is more comfortable for you. If you have dry skin, skip this step and go to step 2. 

Foundation

The foundation is the most critical part of applying makeup to your eyes. It needs to be thin enough to not cake on your skin but thick enough to cover any blemishes and make your eyes look more open and awake. Apply your foundation using your fingertips or a brush, blending well into the skin. If you are using a brush, be sure to use circular motions to get even coverage.
